The Universidade Católica de Santos - UNISANTOS - has a long history of activities and projects focused on Heritage Education in Historic Brazilian Fortifications.
In its portal, at the link https://www.unisantos.br/fortifications are available research materials and experience reports prepared by Emeritus Professor Élcio Rogério Secomandi on forts and fortresses on the Brazilian coast and land border, with special emphasis on the constructions along the coast of the Brazilian state of São Paulo. Also available in this space are several indications of sites that present relevant content in the area of Brazilian Military Architecture.
UNISANTOS has a scientific cooperation agreement signed with ICOFORT, focused on this important theme.
