Dear colleagues members of ICOFORT. Recently the electoral process of our Committee was completed and, together with the distinguished colleagues from bureau Doo Won Cho (South Korea), Fernando Cobos (Spain), Sanaa Niar (Algeria) and Shikha Jain (India), we began our planning for the honorable task of conduct the ICOFORT, after the end of the excellent management of our always President Milagros Flores and the dedicated members of the Bureaus who worked under her wise coordination Fortunately, the electoral calendar caused the start of the new Bureau to coincide with the arrival of a new year. I say "fortunately", because, regardless our day-by-day victories and difficulties, a New Year's Eve is always a moment with great symbolism. It is a moment of hope, because living is seeing at sunrise always a new opportunity for success. It is a moment of reflection, because this success is built by reviewing the actions of the past.…
