It is a great pleasure to share with you the Draft on the Impacts of Climate Change on Fortifications and Military Heritage @.
As indicated, it is a draft, and what we seek with this call is to receive comments and / or recommendations that allow us to be as complete as possible to identify the possibilities of impact of climate change on fortified heritage.
I also take this opportunity to report on this draft, which aims to gather as much information as possible about the effects of climate change on fortifications in the Americas region, and that this information will be part of the MONUMENTAL INVENTORY OF AMERICAN FORTIFICATIONS@ project. Project that has been ongoing for several years and responds to the need to identify the fortified heritage of the Americas region and, as part of it, to identify its typologies and systems. It also seeks to identify the effects of climate change on fortified heritage, as well as the state of conservation and management, and sustainable tourism, among other data.
On this project, more detailed information on progress and upcoming activities will be provided soon.

Es un gran placer compartir con ustedes el Borrador sobre los Impactos del Cambio Climático en las Fortificaciones y el Patrimonio Militar @.
Como se indicó, es un borrador, y lo que buscamos con esta convocatoria es recibir comentarios y / o recomendaciones que nos permitan ser lo más completos posible para identificar las posibilidades de impacto del cambio climático en el patrimonio fortificado.
También aprovecho esta oportunidad para informar sobre este borrador que tiene el objetivo de reunir toda la información posible sobre los efectos del cambio climático en las fortificaciones en la región de las Américas, y que esta información será parte del proyecto INVENTARIO MONUMENTAL DE FORTIFICACIONES AMERICANAS@. Proyecto que ha estado en curso durante varios años y que responde a la necesidad de identificar el patrimonio fortificado de la región de las Américas y, como parte de él, identificar sus tipologías y sistemas. También busca identificar los efectos del cambio climático en el patrimonio fortificado, así como el estado de conservación y gestión, y el turismo sostenible entre otros datos.
Sobre este proyecto, pronto se ofrecerá información más detallada sobre el progreso y las próximas actividades.
